Mission Statement

     As a regional governing body of the Synod of the Sun and Presbyterian Church (USA), The Presbytery of the Pines provides resources and assistance to local congregations as they seek pastoral leadership, raise up leaders for the church, engage people in ministry and mission, and promote faithful Presbyterian and Reformed witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the World.

     The Presbytery of the Pines is to work with member ministers and churches through ministries of education, resource development, leadership training, gospel witness, and counsel, to encourage, promote, and champion a spirited Presbyterian presence in their communities, in service to the Church’s calling to be a sign in and for the world of the new reality which God has made available to people in Jesus Christ.
